I respect people of that nature, though. Conspiracy theorists, Creationists, even Flat Earthers... I think the modern media gives them a bad name. It is not so far-fetched that the moon-landing was faked or that Jack Ruby was set up.
I guess it's a sign of my extreme open-mindedness that I can understand, without necessarily believing in, something our society has already condemned. The stereotype is that all such theorists are crazy, antisocial and possibly dangerous. (Which is true, to a certain extent. Holding to any theory which involves such massive human evil and ignorance is bound to make one antisocial.) But then, our society also holds open-mindedness as a virtue, so I guess it's somewhat of a double-standard.
