One of the conversations right now is with one Jerod C. Batte, a Texan with a penchant for conspiracy theory. Interesting, to say the least, although he does have a tendency to be a mite long-winded.

I dig the whole conspiracy theory scene, although I'm not necessarily a believer. I mean, Illuminati, Men in Black, Aliens.... that's just cool. I didn't care for the MIB movie. Men in black suits, using a combination of mind control and lethal force to perpetuate a massive lie... they should be the bad guys, you know? It goes against every literary instinct in my being to accept them as heroes, even if we lather them in a thick coat of irony and sarcasm. Worldwide conspiracies are invariably evil. Don't tell me I can't handle the truth. It is not your place to say.

These Men in Black, if they do possess mind control technology, wield Absolute Power, and we all know what Absolute Power does.
And the sequel wasn't that great, either.
