I have two years of college education, I smile, I hand out hundreds of resumés, but it seems that no one wants me. It is terribly demoralizing to be turned down by McDonald's.
It wasn't even a real customer-service job. They wanted someone to wipe down the machines after hours, and apparently I didn't even qualify for that. That refusal just sucked the life out of me. | |
Once he reaches a certain age, a man needs employment. He needs to feel he's giving back. At very least, he needs to pay his own tuition. I don't have that. |
